Die Stadtansichten sind die jährlich stattfindende Vortragsreihe der MSA | Münster School of Architecture seit 2007. ArchitektInnen PlanerInnen und ExpertInnen aus dem In- und Ausland thematisieren und reflektieren Positionen in Städtebau und Architektur und referieren zu aktuellen Themen.

Die Vorträge richten sich vor allem an Studierende, aber auch ArchitektInnen, PlanerInnen sowie Interessierte und vernetzen den Campus mit der Stadt Münster und der Region. Die Stadtansichten sind der Ort für Diskussionen und Gespräche auf Augenhöhe auf dem Leonardo Campus in Münster. Neben Einzelvorträgen fanden auch Podien oder Doppelvorträge statt, in denen gegensätzliche Positionen debattiert wurden.

Die Vortragsreihe wird seit 2010 von Prof. Joachim Schultz-Granberg, Department Städtebau konzipiert, organisiert und moderiert. 2007 von Franz-Josef Höing ins Leben gerufen, wurde sie in den Jahren 2009 und 2010 von Prof. Johannes Schilling weitergeführt. 2021 übernahm Almar de Ruiter die Organisation der Reihe.

Der Besuch der Vorträge kann über das Bildungsinstitut der MSA bei der Architektenkammer NRW als Weiterbildung anerkannt werden.

The lecture series Urban Perspectives is an annual event at the MSA | Münster School of Architecture since 2007. Architects, planners and experts from Germany and abroad discuss and reflect on positions in urban design and architecture and give lectures on current and urgent topics.
The lectures are primarily aimed at students, but also architects, planners and interested people and link the campus with the city of Münster and the region. The urban perspectives offer opportunities for discussions and conversation at eye level on the Leonardo Campus in Münster. In addition to individual lectures, there have also been podiums or double lectures in which opposing positions have been debated.
The lecture series has been conceived, organised and moderated by Prof. Joachim Schultz-Granberg, Department of Urban Design, since 2010. Initiated in 2007 by Prof. Franz-Josef Höing, it was continued in 2009 and 2010 by Prof. Johannes Schilling. In 2021, Almar de Ruiter took over the organisation of the series.

Attendance at the lectures can be recognised as further training by the NRW Chamber of Architects through the MSA’s Education Institute.
